Crowns

We offer a variety of different crowns to repair teeth that are damaged, weakened, or have extensive decay, as well as provide protection to a tooth to prevent further damage.

Materials

We use a variety of materials for crowns including porcelain, ceramic; metal (gold or silver alloy) and porcelain-fused-to-metal.

Longevity

On average, dental crowns can last between 5 and 15 years or even longer with proper maintenance.

Aesthetics

Our porcelain and ceramic crowns can be matched to the colour and appearance of natural teeth, providing a natural look.

Bridges

Dental bridges are prosthetic devices used to replace one or more missing teeth. We produce a range of bridges designed to “bridge” the gap created by missing teeth, restoring both the aesthetics and functionality of the dental arch.

Types of Bridges

Traditional Fixed Bridge: This is the most common type of dental bridge. It consists of one or more pontic (artificial teeth) held in place by dental crowns or abutment teeth on either side of the gap.

Cantilever Bridge: In cases where there is only one adjacent tooth to support the bridge, a cantilever bridge is used. The pontic is supported on one side by a dental crown or an implant.

Maryland Bridge (Resin-Bonded Bridge): This type of bridge uses a metal or porcelain framework bonded to the back of the adjacent teeth with minimal or no preparation. It is often used for replacing front teeth.

Implant-Supported Bridge: Instead of using adjacent natural teeth as abutments, this bridge is anchored by dental implants surgically placed in the jawbone. It is a highly stable and long-lasting solution.

Materials

Dental bridges can be made from various materials, including porcelain, ceramic, metal alloys, or a combination of materials. The choice depends on factors such as aesthetics and durability.

Longevity

This varies depending on factors like material and care. With proper maintenance, bridges can last for many years.

Aesthetics

Bridges can be fabricated to match the colour, shape, and appearance of the patient’s natural teeth for a natural look.
